I have been homeschooling my daughter for the past six years. While we started out in public school, I learned rather soon that public schools were not for us. I don’t for one minute regret my choice to homeschool my daughter. Over the past 6 years, I have searched high and low for resources to help make our learning fun. I want my daughter to understand the material taught to her, instead of her dreading the time we spend on schooling.
Recently, I was introduced to a search engine just for educational materials. Noodle.org has everything from learning resources to help in finding the best schools for you.
I was more interested in the site for all the learning materials. I have found the site to be very easy to navigate.
Right now my daughter is having a hard time with multiplication. So I decided to do a quick search to see what all I could find, I was amazed that one small search yielded so much help. As you can see from the image below a search for multiplication came up with 1,530 resources that will offer one help with that particular topic.
Once I find the video I feel would be a great fit for the issues we are having, I can choose to save it to watch later, then when I do a search for multiplication again, the video I saved for viewing later will play.
If I feel my daughter is in need of a tutor I can easily find one in the area she is needing help with, and I will be taken to their profile which will show the hourly rates they charge.
If you’re a homeschooling family and in need of educational videos to help your child better understand the material they’re learning, I highly recommend you sign up for Noodle.org. You will find all the resources you need in one place!
