Stingray Exhibit Coming to Memphis Zoo

I love the Memphis Zoo, however, we don’t have the opportunity to go as much as I would like. If you are a Tennessee resident you can get in the zoo for free on Tuesdays. Plan for the park to be busy, thus the reason we have not been in awhile. I am thinking about getting a family pass this year so we can go whenever we would like.

I just recently learned the Memphis Zoo will be getting a new exhibit, which will allow the kids to interact with the sharks and stingrays! This is music to my ears, with being home schoolers this is going to be one of our planned field trips. Gillian loves all things about animals, and I think this would be a great experience for her.,

The exhibit is scheduled to open March 9th, and will stay open until October 30th. While there will be a fee of $3 per person for Zoo members and $4 each for non-members this will be worth it.

The zoo is growing more and more every year and I am loving it, I still have not had the chance to check out the Teton Trek exhibit, but have heard so many great things about it, I think we are in need of planning a trip to the zoo soon, of course when all the kids are in school so it won’t be overly busy.

I cannot wait until spring because we will be going to check out the exhibit. Love living close to a zoo, specially one that has free day!
