Last year I made attempts to head back to school; however, things happened and I ended up canceling everything out. I guess the fact I have been out of school for over 17 years had something to do with it. I would love to one day go back, but I know now isn’t the time. Before I made the decision to step back, I had all my classes picked out as well as the books I was going to need. All I can say is OUCH at the price of books.
One book was over $100 and it was USED! Just seeing the prices of those books scared me, I think it was going to cost me about $400 just for books, and I was only going to be part time. That in my opinion is just way too much for only one semester. Sure you could attempt to sell them once you no longer needed them, or you could be smart and rent your College books.
There are so many benefits to renting books. For instance at Campus Book Rentals you can save anywhere from 40 to 90% off of bookstore prices, you get free shipping BOTH ways, they have flexible renting periods, the donate to Operation Smile with every textbook rental, and so much more.
With the price of College already costing so much it is important to save money some where, and why pay full price for a book you will only use a few months!
If for some reason you already made those book purchases this year, you can always sell those College books back to Campus Book Rentals when you are done with them. Going to College can not only be stressful it can also be pretty expensive so do what you can to help cut the cost, and rent those books!
