It’s been awhile since I have actually posted. The past 4 years have been something else. I ended up leaving my husband, was single a few years, then I had a baby, got divorced. The past month has been crazy. I work home healthcare, the gentleman I have taken care of for the past 3 1/2 years passed away. That was tough, because he was talking to me one minute the next I was doing chest compressions and on the phone with 911.
With losing my client my hours went from 50 a week to zero a week. So I had to take on another client, needless to say that client had covid and my whole family including my 11 month old son ended up with it and I have not been able to work in almost a month!
Let me tell you Covid is no joke. On the 5th of November i had a slight headache and an itchy throat. I never have headaches. I knew the current client was exposed to covid so that was my first thought. My boyfriend and I went and got tested. Rapid for me came back positive but negative for him. I contacted my daughter who was at work, I went and got her and took her to be tested. The rapid showed negative however, she was having some signs so she decided to call into work and waited for the PCR test. Sure enough she was positive as well, however, the my boyfriend was negative.
We decided it was best him and our son stay at his house while my daughter and I quarantined at our home.
On November 9th, our 11 month old son started getting sick. He has never been sick, so when a runny nose came and his eyes started getting red, we knew something was wrong. My boyfriend and the baby went and got tested again. Our son was positive, the rapid showed negative for my boyfriend. A few days later the PCR came back and my boyfriend was also positive.
All 4 of us was positive and each one of us had totally different symptoms!
My boyfriend was positive had no symptoms. He made sure our son and I was taken care of, I think I had it the worst. My son he was sick for two days, he had a high temp, cough and runny nose. My daughter she lost her taste and smell for a day, she had it bad for one day. She has a slight cough once in awhile, but over all her worse was more mental because she was so use to working all the time and then she got trapped in her room for days. Me I was pretty good for a few days, then my taste changed and i lost smell for about 4 days. I got pretty bad breathing because I am fat and I have breathing issues. A few times I was tempted to goto the ER. However, I kept taking breathing treatments and I watched my oxygen levels. My heart rate got over 140 a few different times at resting, all I wanted to do was sleep and in 2 weeks I lost 15 pounds.
I am not here to push a vaccine. No I am not vaccinated, no I won’t get the vaccination and the person I got covid from was vaccinated.
Covid is no joke, if you get it, EAT DRINK AND TAKE VITAMINS!
