5 Things You Should Pack While Travelling With Your Dog

Traveling with your dog is not a new concept today and it has never been. As a matter of fact, it is actually a cool thing to do. However, as you pack your necessities it is important to remember that your dog has things too that they need. Don’t be selfish with your packing and it’s not like you will have to add a whole two suitcases for your dog. It is good to consider the kind of journey when you will be taking and the time you will be there on your journey. You wouldn’t want to carry beachy stuff on a hike. Get to understand where you will be going first then you can now know what to carry. These are a couple of stuff that should come to your mind very fast when you think of packing for your dog.

1. First aid kit

Safety first! Now even as you pack all the sunglasses and all the what not it is good to be cautious and keep an open mind in the event of any misfortune that comes along the way. It is good to realize that anything can happen and it will be such a shame when it does and all that you have with you is a bag full of colognes, glasses, and lotions. Get a first aid kit that shall come in handy for both you and your dog.

2. Leash

Now in many states, it is not good to travel with a dog that is not on a leash. Many people have grown so much attached to their dogs that they have complete trust in them and they don’t want to tie them up. Then I have news for you will be more heartbroken when you lose your dog in the crowd simply because you did not want to put a leash on it. Leashes also come as a protection feature

3. Tag

Now, this is the number one on the list of Dog Resources you should have when traveling. This is simply because as I said earlier anything may happen and when it does you will only be lucky to find your dog because it had a tag on. This comes in handy especially when you have no leash on it.

4.Seat covers and blankets

A good traveling experience with no regrets is what we are looking for and to achieve this you will be more comfortable knowing that your dog is also comfortable. It is good to carry seat covers in case of any defecation and blanket for warmth. Protect your dog at all times.

5. Record of medical vaccinations

Now, this is majorly for your protection. What happens when you go to a new place and your dog goes rogue. What happens if it turns on some annoying teenager and they claim they have rabbis? You will need to have such document sot prove that your dog is safe to be with even in public places. Avoid all the court drama.
