Eat meals instead of snacking
If you get peckish during the day, eat proper food as a pose to snacks. They will fill you up and keep you going throughout the day, whereas a snack will only make you feel good for a short while, and you will soon want to eat again. There are many easy meals out there that only take a moment to make, so there’s no excuse!
Surrender to the soup
Soups and stews are a very healthy option and taste great too. Not only are they packed full of vegetables (which means plenty of vitamins) but they’re very simple to make and barely cost you a thing! A good tip is to make too much; then you can enjoy it over the next couple days without having to prepare anything.
Prepare your meals on the weekends
If you want to save yourself a lot of time and also make sure you stick to eating healthy, instead of giving up and pigging out on naughty things – prep your meals for the whole week on the weekend. This way you’ll only be buying the ingredients you need, and your eyes will be less likely to wander around. You will also be taking the load off trying to come up with new ideas every day to keep your diet exciting, because you would have already thought of everything beforehand.
Smoothie bags
Another great thing that you can prepare in advance is smoothies! They are absolutely delicious and are so good for you because you can pack them full of your favorite fruit and veg. They are super simple to make too as long as you have a blender, and you can freeze them all, and just take them out to defrost whenever you’re in need of a little pick-me-up.
Have the real deal
Juice is yummy, but don’t think that it counts as your fruit intake – because it doesn’t. Most supermarket branded drinks are full of artificial colors and flavors, so although it may say orange juice on the bottle, doesn’t mean it’s made out of oranges only. So unless you’re making it yourself, it would be best just to eat the fruit instead.
Keep adding vegetables
Your mission is to find a way to add at least two different types of veg to every meal you have, this includes your breakfast! Make sure you change it up, don’t just stick to the same few different selections, where’s the fun in that?

Get yourself a membership
If you lack motivation in the fitness area, consider going to the gym. Being in a room full of sweaty, hard working people will make you want to do same. There are also personal trainers that you can get on demand! So if you need help in a certain area, just ask and they will be happy to help. (It’s what they’re paid to do!)
Build your strength up
Workouts like yoga and pilates are excellent for building up your strength, not only in the muscle area but your posture and flexibility too. You can identify someone who does yoga from afar because their bodies are just solid and sculpted in all the right places, and this could be you!
Do it at your desk
If a day comes where you really do just have too much to do, why not keep fit at work? It may sound silly, but you could fit a quick workout in underneath your desk, especially with the use of a resistance band! You’ll be toning your thighs while typing your documents.
Or in front of the tv
You don’t have to drag yourself away from the show that you’re obsessed with in order to exercise. With the use of an exercise bike, or kettle bells, or anything else portable, you can workout while you watch tv. – Essentially killing two birds with one stone.
Mix it up
Don’t stick to the same old exercises otherwise you will get very bored very easily, and you’ll soon lose interest and pack it all in. – You don’t want this to happen. It can be easily avoided if you just change the routine up a little once in awhile. Instead of going running on Tuesday, go swimming instead, and so on…
Have a dance
Put on your favorite music, crank up the volume and get your body moving. Dancing is such a fun way to keep fit, and it doesn’t cost you anything, and you don’t need anyone! Get yourself in some suitable clothing, stick your headphones on and dance like no one’s watching!

Meditate before and after bed
If you want a good night’s sleep, then as well as the usual workout, meditation can be a wonderful way to settle your body down for a good night’s sleep, and a great start to the morning. Start by taking just five minutes out to practice, then the more comfortable you get with the idea – the longer you can increase your session.
Quit your bad habits
Yes, this means smoking too. It is so bad for your health; not only can it cause many different types of cancer, but it can drastically age you, ruin your teeth and make you very unfit. Reduce your stress
