Change can be a big thing for someone who suffers from anxiety and PTSD. So when we decided to make the plunge and get a new home, I was not only excited I was scared. I knew we would have to break the other place down, and I knew this was going to take a bit.
I knew we would be staying in the tent and I hated knowing it was going to be for a longer period than what I wanted to. However, I knew it was something that needed to be done.
After getting the old place broke down and moved the crew came in to start getting the place where the new home was going set.
After the land was situated and the holes were in place they brought in a cement truck to fill in the holes.
About 5 days after the cement was laid we got to see our new home being brought in, this was exciting, because we were ready to get out of the tent!
For most of the process the weather wasn’t to bad. Towards the end of them putting in our new home, it decided it was going to rain for a week straight. Remember we were in the tent and not allowed in the home until it was completed. So we got soaked all of our things in the tent got wet and it sucked.
The place we purchased the new home from knew we were in the tent so even though they had other homes they were working on, our home was a priority and I am forever thankful to them. Even though, we were not supposed to be in the home until it was completed, they allowed us to sleep in there when the weather became to much.
While the time in the tent sucked and I did have some depression, the overall end result was worth it. I will get more pictures of the inside and outside that is complete at a later time.
