Jewelry in Candles is a company that started a few years ago, they make their candles with soy wax and add fragrances that make your home and office smell spectacular. Each candle and pack of tart they sell, come with a ring, necklace, bangle, or charm. What makes them stand out, is you get to choice which ring size you would like and each ring has a value of at least $10 and some even have a higher value.
While, I learned of this company when they started, it wasn’t until recently, I was able to check them out first hand. I was super excited to check them out, because I have heard so much about them.
With all the different fragrances to choose from, I had a tough time picking which one I wanted to try. With loving the smell of lilacs from a very young age, I decided to check out their lilac tarts. I am also very impatient, and I knew the tarts I would find my prize ring without having to wait hours.
On the back of the tart you can see the one with your surprise, so of course I broke that one off first and started to melt my new tart.
Don’t mind the over size bowl on my warmer, my warmer dish had cracked, so I had to make due :) Let me tell you, while the smell wasn’t as strong as all the lilac trees I was surrounded by when I was a child, the smell was very refreshing. It wasn’t over powering and it made my home smell so good. It allowed all those memories from a child flood back into my memory.
It was like I was 10 years old again playing hide-n-seek around the lilac bushes with all my childhood friends.
After a short while, I was able to get the foil out of the tart, and I was ready to open my new ring!
Yes, I used tweezers to get the ring to break free from the tart, because like I said before I am a bit impatient, but it’s all good, no tweezers were harmed in this process.
Look at how pretty that ring is, funny story, my sister’s birthday was in November, and this just happened to be her birthstone. While it’s not a ring I would wear, my daughter loves everything girlie, and this is a ring she will wear. My sister also happened to win a Jewelry in Candles tart on her birthday, and she went with the necklace.
