Did you know September was National Breakfast Month? It’s also the most important meal of the day, after sleeping 8 hours your body needs a good healthy breakfast in the morning to re-amp your brain and to help with weight loss.
In our family we love a good breakfast, and oftentimes we will do breakfast for dinner. How many of you will do breakfast night?
When it comes to breakfast we’re not ones for just cereal, we like pancakes, bacon and eggs. Depending on our moods depends on how we like our pancakes, oftentimes I will add a little pumpkin spice or cinnamon to the batter to make them that much better for us.
When it comes to pancake mix I turn to Krusteaz, because I like mixes that are simple so I can add my own flavorings like can pumpkin, chocolate chips and even different fruits.
Krusteaz breakfast mixes are high quality mixes that come in several varieties, making breakfast anytime simple. Recently, Krusteaz and I started playing around with a little pancake art. I discovered I should probably stick to normal round pancakes, I had several failed attempts in making a simple heart. I know with a little practice though, I maybe able to master pancake art, but I will leave mastering the skill to a later date.
It seemed making a snowman was a lot easier then a heart.
Snowman Cinnamon Pancakes
1 cup Krusteaz Buttermilk Pancake Mix
2/3 cup Cold Water
2 tsp Ground Cinnamon
Sprinkles
In a heated frying pan make three circles, each one a little bigger then the last, then make your arms. If you’re feeling crafty and you have a big pan you could even make a little hat for your snowman. Let the mix bubble and flip. Simple and easy!

We like our pancakes with bananas or berries and even a few chocolate chips with coconut flakes on occasion. Sometimes I’ll add some different flavored extracts just to change it up a bit, but we always enjoy them with topped with a little syrup.
