When it comes to grocery shopping, I like things easy and simple. To prepare for our monthly meals, I find recipes that I will be preparing, I then make my list. If I have coupons I get those ready for my quick shopping trip. I am not one to spend hours in a store shopping for groceries. I am a get in and out type of person and I often find myself walking out of the store forgetting at least one item.
Food Lion has recently launched a Recipe Portal. The Recipe Portal has 1070 different recipes. Now you can locate a recipe you would like to prepare, check the ingredients you don’t have on hand and add them to your shopping list. After you have your shopping list ready, from the Food Lion website you can either print your shopping list, or have it emailed to you.
After your list is ready to go shopping, you can then go to the Coupon Hub and get which coupons you need. Using Food Lion’s Recipe Portal and Coupon Hub, you can not only save time on your shopping trips but also money. With being on a budget I want to get the best deals possible, with the convenience of having all the coupons I need at my finger tips. I personally don’t like having to flip through a binder to find what coupons I need, this takes more time than what I want to put into my shopping trip. Food Lion Coupon Hub, not only allows me to save money, but also time on my shopping trips.
Since I am not one for a binder, with being a Food Lion MVP, I can easily clip coupons on to my card and not have to worry about the hassle of a binder and clipping paper coupons. I do use paper coupons once in awhile, however, I prefer to have my coupons go onto a MVP card so I don’t have to fumble around with paper coupons.
Using the Coupon Hub is as easy as 1, 2, 3
Food Lion, wants to give one of my readers a chance to experience the Recipe Portal and Coupon Hub so they to can see how simple it is to save time and money on grocery shopping, because shopping for groceries doesn’t have to be a headache.
One reader of The Neat Things in Life, will win 4 x $25 Food Lion gift cards.
Entering will be simple: Head over to the Coupon Hub and let me know which coupons you would use to make your next meal.
