With having always struggled with my weight from a very young age, I was excited to see many different weight watchers endorsed products at the grocery store. Over the past year, I took the stand to fight against the rising numbers on the scale. With changing when and how I ate, I was able to drop 60 pounds in 2014. Having weight watchers endorsed products easy accessible made it that much easier.
One of my many #NewYearsResolutions for 2015 is to continue on my #WeightLossJourney. With still having at least 100 pounds to drop 2015 will be no different from 2014. I will continue to use weight watchers endorsed products to create delicious snacks, desserts and meals my whole family will love, all while watching the numbers on the scale drop for this overweight mom.
One of my many faults when it comes to my weight, is I love desserts and often times I skip breakfast. I learned fast skipping breakfast is a no-no and eating all those desserts is only a great way to help the scale climb. Since becoming more serious about the way I eat, I have turned some of my favorite desserts into healthy breakfast options thanks to weight watcher endorsed products like Yoplait Greek 100 Calorie yogurt and Yoplait Light Fat Free yogurt. Yoplait Greek 100 Calorie yogurt comes in several different flavors, with mixing and matching you can make a yummy breakfast that will also satisfy any sweet tooth. Now that is a win win!
One of my favorite desserts happen to be banana split. With a little creative thinking I was able to take Yoplait Greek 100 Calorie yogurt, some fruit, and some nuts and make a healthy banana split for breakfast!
A not so healthy option of the banana split includes… 3 different flavors of ice cream, banana’s, strawberries, pineapple, nuts, cherries, and some whip cream. My alternative option for a healthier banana split includes yoplait greek 100 calorie tropical fruit, yoplait greek 100 calorie mixed berry (which both just so happen to be weight watchers endorsed products), banana, strawberries and some crushed pecans/nuts.
Banana Split for Breakfast
2 different flavors yoplait greek 100 calorie yogurts
half of a banana, sliced
4 strawberries, sliced
crushed pecans or almonds
In a glass scoop half of one flavor of your yoplait greek 100 calorie yogurt into the bottom of the glass. Add your banana slices next and proceed with about half of your second flavored yoplait greek 100 calorie yogurt to cover the bananas. Top the second layer of yogurt with strawberries. Cover the strawberries with the remaining yogurt, I did one side with half one flavor and the other side with the other flavor. Then sprinkle with your pecans. YUMMY!

I will continue on with my #WeightLossJourney until I have completely reached my goal. Once I reach my goal I will not be calling it quits, I will continue to eat right and exercise so the scale doesn’t go back up on me. I will also learn new Yoplait recipes so I don’t get burnt out on the same old recipes.
