Are you and the kiddos getting prepared for his visit? Have you thought about what type of cookies you’ll be leaving out for him this year? This year why not change things up a bit for the big fat guy in the red suit and leave him some Mexican Hot Chocolate Chex Party Mix instead.

Once you have everything ready to go make sure you read the directions, heck read them SEVERAL times and follow them. I apparently don’t know how to read a recipe, because at the end I goofed a teeny tiny bit and after mixing in th chocolate mixture instead of putting it back into the microwave I added the marshmallows and then put it back into the microwave, I realized it and pulled it out before I had an ooey gooey mess.
Once you follow the direction in the end you will have a nice cup of Mexican Hot Chocolate Chex Mix for Santa.
However, if for some reason Santa isn’t a fan of Mexican Hot Chocolate Party Chex Mix, Chex has over 100 different recipes you could make to give Santa a little something different this holiday season. Did I mention is Santa has a gluten problem they have 50 gluten free recipes as well. Head on out to Publix today and stock up on the ingredients to give Santa a little surprise when he stops in to visit you in 22 more days.

I love the original Chex Mix but I love chocolate. This looks so good! I think this would be a great alternative to cookies for Santa to munch on while he is putting out presents!
I like this a lot! When I lived out West, a lot of the ladies in the Mexican-American community would make somthing similar to this, They added something spicier to it, thoughm I think it might have been adobo? Anyway, theirs was good, and yours looks great!!
