Now that school is in full swing and Summer is winding down at the end of the day this mom is tired and I don’t want to “slave” over the stove cooking a meal that isn’t considered a box meal. Thankfully, Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers come in great varieties to help even the busiest moms put a yummy meal on the table that will have the kiddos asking for it again another night.
Whether you want to make a quick meal with their Roasted Red Potatoes, Green Beans & Rosemary Butter or their Macaroni & Cheese Sauce with Broccoli, the convenience of steaming the vegetables in minutes right in your microwave will have you asking yourself why you didn’t think of that for dinner before!
In our home we love taking Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers and mixing and matching them with different meats. Not only is this a quick way to make a healthy filling meal on the table, it’s also a great way to discover new flavors.
One way we love Valley Fresh Steamers is with chicken! We like to take the Green Giant Valley Fresh Macaroni & Cheese Sauce with pasta and mix it with chicken breasts. As long as you have the chicken cut in bit size pieces this is a meal that can be done within about 15 to 20 minutes. No slaving over the stove, no having to worry about whether the kids will like it, and not much of a clean up afterwards.
First, we cut the chicken breasts into bit size pieces, we used two nice size breasts. Then we put it on the stove to cook, while the chicken was cooking we steamed two bags of Macaroni & Cheese Sauce with Broccoli, one at a time of course.
Once the chicken was cooked all the way through we added the Macaroni & Cheese Sauce with Broccoli.
The end result was delicious!
With Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers dinner can be quick, easy and delicious, no matter how short on time you are! Green Giant Valley Fresh Steamers come in several different varieties. Make sure to pick yours up today in the freezer section of your favorite grocery store.
