Dual Julienne and Vegetable Peeler Review

With trying to be on the healthier side of things, we have moved away from pastas and we have added more veggies into our meals. When we do have pasta for spaghetti, I make sure and add a lot of veggies to the pasta sauce, so we use less pasta and get more veggies. I recently had the opportunity to check out the Priority Chef dual julienne and vegetable peeler.

One thing I thought would be great about this product is the fact it was two in one, I could peel my veggies, then flip and julienne them. This would be perfect for adding in those veggies most kids stick their noses up to.

The Priority Chef dual julienne and vegetable peeler has ultra sharp blades, is made of stainless steel and is dishwasher safe.I decided to check the product out on a potato and make hash browns for breakfast.

I thought the aspect of the peeler was a great idea. Loved being able to peel and julienne with the same kitchen tool. However, I also found this product to be a bit scary to work with. I personally found this product to be difficult to use, it wasn’t as easy as what is described. I had a hard time peeling the potato and I could have did it faster and smoother with a sharp kitchen knife, and I wouldn’t have to worry about shredding my hand in the processes.

While peeling the potato the peeler did slip and get my hand a bit. I would love to see maybe a different blade on the product and a hand guard so you can peel with ease and not have to worry about cutting your hand up. The julienne part was the same way I was worried about getting my hand and fingers. Once you get down to the end, you end up having to throw out the remaining product or dicing it up with a knife which defeats the purpose of this tool.

While the product is a great idea, I don’t think it’s a product for me or my kitchen.

If you’re interested in checking out the Priority Chef dual vegetable and julienne peeler, you can purchase it on Amazon for $9.95

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Tomoson.com. Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
