I have been using Almased for a about 6 weeks now, and if you have ever attempted to lose weight often times you will stray a little from your “diet” or your healthy lifestyle. I have to say, I have done just that, while I still kept my calorie count low, and I still worked out some. I have not put my 100% into it the past few weeks. My first two weeks doing the Almased Diet, I was committed and I gave it my all, the end result was 9 pounds off the scale. The past month, I haven’t gave it my 100%, we had my daughter’s birthday, and while I tried to keep things low, there were days where I only drank my one drink and ate real food for my other two meals.
Not what I had planned at all, however, when you’re a mom, you have to make sure the family is fed and it can be hard cooking for the family and not eating some as well. I have dropped 13 pounds total so far, and that makes me happy! I am averaging about 2 pounds a week which to me is perfect. I do wish I could lose faster, but I know if I want to keep it off, I have to go slow and steady.
If you haven’t seen my previous post about Almased and you’re wondering what the heck I am talking about. You can read all about Almased here, keep in mind this isn’t a lose weight quick product. It is however, a meal replacement drink that will give you the protein you need without all the calories.
One of the things I love about Almased, is I can mix and match it to make a yummy meal replacement drink, I have two different ways I love having them. One is with unsweetened dark cocoa and skim milk, it makes it into a chocolate milk which is super yummy and gives me about 40grams of protein. Makes for an awesome pre-workout drink.
I also like to mix it with filtered water, ice and a handful or spinach. At first, I thought this was going to be gross, but to be honest it’s very refreshing and I am getting in some greens.
I recently came across a mess load of different ways on Pinterest to make my shakes and I cannot wait to try a few of them.
If you’re interested in checking out Almased you can older it from Energetic Nutrition, they get their product directly from the manufacture, which means the product doesn’t site in the warehouse for years before making it to you. I have received product in exchange for my honest opinion, and once my product is gone, I will become a paying customer.
So if you’re looking to lose weight this is the product I personally would recommend, I went to the doctor today and she was excited to see the scale dropping, she asked me if I were doing a weight loss boot camp, told her no and told her I was taking Almased, I educated her some on the product and she said well it’s working!
I have also had family members comment on my weight loss, I have lost a total of 43 pounds since January, 13 of which were from the last 6 weeks on Almased. I am hoping I will be at my first goal weight by Christmas.
What are some tips you have to help me reach my goal weight besides counting calories and working out?
I have not tried this. With the various recipes, it may make the diet last.
