I have been wearing glasses now since I was about 12 years old and if you don’t have insurance they can be costly. Here in Tennessee your eye prescription expires every year, which means you have to get a new exam. My eyes seem to change rapidly so every year, I am left purchasing a new pair.
Until a few years ago, I never realized, I could order my glasses on-line for a lot less then they sell them for at the eye doctor. Recently, I was introduced to a company called Trioo. Trioo is an eyewear created by a French manufacturer who moved their operation to Shanghai in 2009. Up until January 2014, their frames sold on-line to those in China, they have yet again expanded their operation and now sell to the US.
They sell frames for both men and women. I had the opportunity to check out their frames first hand. I ordered the Prestige Orlando in Jamaica Blue.
These particular frames are made from a high quality stainless steel. They’re not easily faded or deformed, and they’re antibacterial and corrosion resistant. You can get prescription lenses for your Trioo frames free of charge. The lenses are made from hard resin, they’re light weight offer 100% UV protection, they’re coated twice with an anti-reflective coating, and they also have an anti-scratch and anti-static coating placed on them.
Trioo frames start at $47 and go to $97, the ones I received where $97, not only do they offer free prescription lenses with their eyewear they also offer free shipping to those in the US. I found the delivery time of the glasses to be outstanding, most places I ordered from online, had a big delay in getting me my glasses.
I can say these frames are a bit out there! My husband says I have the “geek sheek” look now.
I found the frames to be very well made, and I can tell by the way they’re made, I don’t have to worry about them breaking easily.

I havent been able to find online reviews of people that actually bought and ordered glasses from trivoo so Im not sure if its safe t i buy online. Im very careful about that stuff. You werent asked by the company to review or anything? Cuz i hate the glasses i have now and i would like to get new ones and i saw a pair from trivoo that i fell in love with. Please reply back :)
