I Took The Plunge

About a week or so ago, I decided to see if I could get a Bill Me Later account. I honestly, wasn’t expecting to be approved because I always get turned down when I apply for credit cards. To my surprise I was approved and given a credit limit. This limit kept haunting me, and I kept getting emails. I so badly wanted to purchase a laptop with this credit.

However, my anxiety always came back with those what ifs: What if you need the money for something? What if you don’t have money for this later? What if… What if…

If you have anxiety issues you may know what I am talking about. As I sat here for about a week pondering whether or not to do it. I am having a hard time focusing and getting my work done, because I dislike sitting at a desk, I like being mobile whether rolling out of bed, staying under the covers while I work, or taking it to the couch so I can interact with the family.

Last night my husband and I decided that it needed to be done. I wanted to stay in a certain price range, and I found one on eBay, and I hit that buy it now button. Now I am sitting here waiting for it to come! It seems like it is taking forever to get an email saying it has been shipped. One thing I like about the fact I purchased on eBay with the Bill Me Later feature is I have 6 months no payment and no interest. If I pay off in 6 months I don’t have to pay interest, however, I don’t have to make a payment for 6 months!

I am super excited to be going mobile soon. With that I will be able to get more done in a day! Did I also mention since I purchased on eBay and it was my first time using Bill Me Later, I got $21.55 in eBay Bucks, I call that a score.

This time of year – especially with the bitter cold and higher heating bills, this would really help a lot of people get some things now that they really need, knowing that they can wait a few months to pay it. Takes quite a bit of pressure off since they paycheck only goes so far!

It is! If I would have known about it before now, I would have had a laptop back in November when mine died. I am getting so much more done, before I was stuck at a desk and I like to be mobile, if the family is hanging in the living room watching a movie, I want to be in there as well with the laptop. I can still work and hangout at the same time. With the desktop computer I was stuck, so when the family was hanging in the living room I joined instead of being lonely on the computer.
