We are a family that likes puzzles, so when I was contacted about a product called Mystic Lights, I knew this would be a product for my family. Basically, Mystic Lights is a bunch of piece, and you get to put them together, once together you slip in a light and you have a unique lamp.
Mystic Lights, come in 11 different colors, and three different sizes. You can either go with the small, medium, or large. Each light comes with 30 pieces, and a 12′ cord with an on and off switch. There is no limit to what you can make, the more kits you make the bigger your creation.
We went with the green medium kit for review. I have to admit with the instructions that were sent this was going to be a big headache. I actually sat the product aside, and dreaded having to put the thing together. It looked so complicated, thankfully Mystic Lights, offers to sent you a built one for a little extra money.
With a little help from the video online though I was able to get the light built within about 10 minutes!
I started by opening the above video, at which time I learned what was front and what was back. It’s important to know the difference, because if you attempt to start using the back half, you’ll have a headache, and want to throw the pieces on the table only to have your light be a dream.
I then went and got the pieces ready for assembling.
Now for the fun part, as I was assembling the lamp I had to pause the video every so often.
Then was to insert the cord with the light bulb. This was a bit tricky, because the pieces wanted to come apart on me, but once I got the hang of it the rest was simple.
Now the product was complete!
This is a rather nice size lamps, I have only attempted this one, I might get brave, and try another design soon. One thing I do like about the material used is it’s heat resistant, that means I don’t have to worry about the light getting to hot and causing a problem. I also like that the piece where you screw in the light bulb is a bit bigger, so the light bulb is away from the pieces a bit more.
Like I said before the pieces come in small, medium and large, and 11 different colors. Starting price on the kits are $25 and go to $45, all kits do include the light cord, and you can purchase an LED bulb which would make your light that much neater.
Mystic Lights are so unique they’re great for all rooms in the home and all occasions.
