The video highlights many of the gameplay elements of Daimonin, but the game is now in its 5th Beta stage, and it’s open to the public as a free-to-play MMORPG for Windows, Mac and Linux.
Daimonin doesn’t have cutting edge graphics, but it’s a very well put together 2D isometric MMORPG with tons of items to collect and enemies to kill. If you enjoy wiping out tons of enemies and finding rare weapons, armors and magic devices, Daimonin is the game for you.
How to Play Daimonin
The first thing you need to do to play Daimonin, is to download the client for your operating system. Afterwards, you can launch the client, create a character and begin exploring the massive Daimonin world.
Daimonin is far from your average MMORPG, and combines old-school graphics with modern gameplay elements for an MMO experience like no other. Players interact with the world using keyboard commands. “A” is used to apply armor, potions and other gear. It is also used to interact with stairwells and dungeon entrances like wells or holes in the ground. “G” is used to get items out of corpses or from the store. Movement can be controlled using the mouse and alt key or the number pad on your full-sized keyboard.
Daimonin Skills
The skills in Daimonin are where the game really shines. Players can train melee weapon attacks, ranged weapons, magical attack spells and more. As you level and begin completing quests, you can learn spells like firestorm, icestorm and even lightning.
Daimonin Items
When it comes to rare items, Daimonin has few rivals. You’ll find normal non-magical items in the town shops, but you’ll find you’re best gear and items from killing enemies and looting their corpses. In addition to rare armors, rings and amulets, players can also find magic devices called rods and horns. These devices allow non-mage players to use spells by leveling their magic “device” skill.
Daimonin is a hardcore Massive Multi-player Online Role-playing Game, and it’s not for everyone. If you’re looking for cutting edge 3D graphics, this game isn’t for you. If you’re looking for a free-to-play MMORPG that offers a whole lot of fun and challenging gameplay despite old-school graphics, Daimonin is definitely for you!
Wow this looks really fun and cool. I am more into FPS, but hey, why not?
I have always loved this game, I wish there were more people that played, probably a good thing there isn’t because I would be on it all day everyday.
