I am participating in the Verizon Wireless Ambassadors program and have been provided with a wireless device and three months of service in exchange for my honest opinions about the product.
I like to think of Verizon Wireless as the Cadillac of cellphone providers. Not only are they reliable, they have a fast network, and they have some of the best apps, that are designed to help you and make your life easier.
And I am not just saying that because I am a Verizon Wireless Ambassador, I am saying that because I honestly believe it. I have had other cell phone services before and nothing comes close to Verizon. For example, my husband and I recently took a trip to Scottsboro, AL. While we were their on a blogging event, I had three different bloggers asking if I was having issues uploading images to twitter. My response, no I am having no problems.
They all stated they had been having issues most the day. Do you want to know what the problem was? They all had the same cellphone service, and it wasn’t Verizon. During our trip to Alabama Verizon out beat AT&T when it came to speed and reliability!
Let’s not forget Verizon’s new Edge program. If you’re unaware of what the Edge program is you can roead all about it here. Basically, the Edge program allows you to get a new smartphone without having to pay the full upfront amount for the device, instead you pay monthly payments, then after 6 months if you have your current device half way paid for you can Edge Up. Meaning trade in your current device for a new one, what makes Verizon Edge Program different from other providers, is they give you 24 months to pay off the device, this meaning lower payments. They also allow you to trade in after 6 months as long as you have the current device half way paid, AND you don’t have to sign a contract! Those contracts always get me, but not with Verizon.
So far we have fast, reliable, convenient, now lets talk about those apps!
With Football season in full swing you need that NFL Mobile App. This particular app is a must have for all those football fans. You will never miss another game, and you can check out the scores anytime, anywhere, and for as little as $5 a month you can upgrade to the premium version and watch your games LIVE , you will then be known as the cool friend!
Safely Go is another app that is a must have when it comes to Verizon Apps. Turn the app on and when you receive a text or a call, the person at the other end will be informed you are driving. Never be distracted again by your phone, and no worries that the person at the other end will think you’re ignoring their call. This app will make you the safest of your friends.
Now that we have an app for the coolest friend, and the safest friend, let’s talk about the app that will make you the smartest friend.
Verizon Roadside Assistance App, will make you the smartest friend. How so you ask? Because for as little as $3 a month, you will receive emergency roadside assistance 24/7 in the US, Puerto Rico, and Canada, the best part about this, is the service follows you, so guess what if you’re with friends or family and you have a flat, as long as you have your phone and the roadside assistance service, you can contact someone for help via the app.

So if you want to be the cool, safe and smart friend Verizon is the way to go, and now you see why I believe Verizon is the Cadillac of the cellphone providers.
