Gift Cards and the Blahs

I love gift cards, but they have a downside to them, I recently went to order something online with a gift card, and low and behold you CANNOT use this online, it has to be used at a store location. Which defeats the whole purpose of me trying to save money. The closest store is in Memphis, which is about an hour drive…

Granted I have a few gift cards I could use while in Memphis, I dislike Memphis with a passion! It scares me like no tomorrow. One day I will get out of being a chicken when driving through Memphis, but I don’t see it being anytime soon.

I know this has happened before where I went to order something online, and it be a in-store only gift card.

How many of you have ever had this issue? Which gift cards have you attempted to use online for it to be a card where you had to use it in the store?
