The GED 5-Subject Crash Course. A few years back my husband decided he was going to get his GED and see about taking some College courses to advance in his career. We all know unless you have some sort of papers to prove you know what you know, your knowledge means nothing.
Since it has been many years since my husband has been in school, I went to the library to get him a study guide. Needless to say the library wanted me to pay a deposit to check the book out, this was half the value of the book. I was not very happy, when the older librarian was there, I never had to pay no such deposits…
So I left and came home, because I didn’t have the money to pay half the value of the study guide. So my husband didn’t have a guide to help him study, and there were a few areas he struggled in this lead to him not passing that portion of the test. Like most this only discourages one and they give up.
When I was asked if I was interested in reviewing The Complete Idiot’s Guide to the GED 5-Subject Crash Course, I jumped at the chance. I know my husband will not go back to get his GED, and although I have my diploma, I still lack in certain areas. With being home schoolers I need to make sure I understand the materials I teach my daughter. With my grammar not being the best I wanted to use this as a study guide to help me with my grammar.
I was impressed with all the material packed into this book, and I know in time it will help me a lot with my grammar. Once I am done with it, I will be sending it off to my sister so she can brush up on her schooling, and hopefully go get her GED.
If you or someone you know is in need of getting their GED this is the book for you! With having a hard cover book at your disposal you will have all the time you need to prepare yourself to pass the tests needed to get your GED. I am hoping I will learn how to write better, so I can feel a bit more confident in the work I do.
