Tip #2 for T-fal’s Healthy Summer Challenge, get more exercise and make some healthy snacks!
I will be the first to admit, I don’t move as much as I should. I usually have some sort of excuse, such as, it’s too hot, or I am tired and don’t feel well, blah blah blah. However, it’s time to throw the excuses out the window, and to get off my butt and to start moving…
I will be accomplishing this goal, but just moving more. While cleaning house, I will do some more body movements, while sitting here working on blog posts, I will do more movements. Even if I look silly doing it, because in the end the results will make me look fabulous.
I will also make sure to park farther away from the store before going shopping. I know by doing this right here it will help me out a ton, and I am sure someone else could use the closer parking spot I once found the need to grab real fast. I will also start making some healthier snacks!
Everyone loves to snack, but the snacks we love snacking on can be part to blame for the bigger waistline. Although this recipe was created using the T-fal Actifry, it can be made using a pan on the stove.
Amy Sherman’s Popcorn Crunch
1/4 sugar
1/4 cup honey
1/4 cup natural peanut butter
4 cups popcorn
Cook sugar and honey until sugar dissolves about 3 minutes. Add peanut butter, one tablespoon at a time, to prevent it from clumping together. Cook another 2 minutes then stir and cook another 2 minutes. Add popcorn dispersing it evenly. Cook for 3 minutes then transfer to a greased sheet pan to cool.
I wrote this blog post while participating in the T-Fal Healthy Summer Challenge blogging program for a chance to win a T-fal ActiFry or additional cookware.
