I have only been doing this healthy thing for about a week now. The work is really paying off, while the number lose this week is not huge I am very excited with the number. I have lost 2.2 pounds in a week! I want to lose the weight slow so I don’t have all the loose skin and such. I would rather lose slow, and then tighten the skin naturally.
I am keeping my calorie intake between 1300 and 1500. I sometimes do over snack and go up a little. However, on those days I work out more to help make up for the extra intake.
Losing weight is not easy, it is a huge struggle for me. I know though in my heart, I have to do this for me. My husband was telling me last night how beautiful I was, and I explained I would be more so when I drop 100 pounds… he got mad at me, and stated my size doesn’t matter in his eyes I will always be beautiful.
I am so glad I have not only a loving husband but a supportive husband. He is the one that put his foot down about the type of foods coming into the home. I am a cheese eater, I love cheese, and pasta. However, those are currently out of site. We have been eating whole grain pasta, but no cheese.
I will be glad when I get to a safe weight were working out is a lot easier, then I can bring back my cheese. My goal is to run the 6 miles around our block with no struggles, and within about 45 minutes. I just have to stay focused and no the goal I am trying to reach. I dislike not being able to shop for clothes at the “normal” stores.
