With Christmas being only 33 days away, I am sure everyone has got their letters sent. How many of you asked Santa to bring you a new nighty? A girl can never have enough nighties! Every year for Christmas my husband always hints for me to get some new lingerie (like I don’t already have enough).
If you know my husband on a personal level, then you would know he likes to be mister joker, and will often make remarks about it being my Christmas lingerie. I often want to joke back, and ask him why do I need a holiday to purchase some new under garments.
How many of you use the holiday’s as an excuse to purchase new clothes? I have never had to use the holiday’s because I know if we have the money and I see something I like, my husband won’t fuss because I purchased it. However, that time rarely comes, I would rather take the few extra bucks, and purchase something for my daughter.
I think that is why when holiday’s come my husband uses them as his excuse to purchase nice items for me. I am always thinking about others around me through-out the year. He has often told me that is why he married me, because I am always putting others before myself.
When one becomes a parent though, it usually comes natural. How many of you would rather spend on your kids then yourself? How many of you have to feel guilty when you do purchase something new for yourself?
I always feel guilty for the longest time, but guess what, your allowed to spoil yourself every so often. :)
