VeggieTales Bob Lending a Helping Hand and Larry Learns to Listen Review/Giveaway

Being a parent is far from an easy job. We worry about our children pretty much 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. We want to raise our children to be respected young adults, and we worry about the influence their friends, and TV shows will have on them. Being a parent, I am extremely glad to see shows such as the VeggieTales! Veggietales help our children learn in a good way that is fun.

Bob Leands a Helping HandWhen Joe’s mom breaks her big left toe, Bob the Tomato decides to help. Larry and Joe offer their ‘superhero’ help, too, but that’s not exactly what Bob has in mind. Kids will discover right along with Larry and Joe that everyone can be a superhero if you lend a helping hand! Also includes two classic shows, “Tomato Sawyer and Huckleberry Larry’s Big River Rescue” and “Lyle the Kindly Viking.”

Larry Learns to ListenWhen Larry’s new Space Squadron game finally arrives, he’s so anxious to play that he forgets to read the directions. When his friends do their best to tell him, Larry refuses to listen! What happens? His game goes ‘KERPOW!’ That’s when Larry learns a valuable lesson in listening as his friends come to the rescue. Kids will discover, right along with Larry, that God gave friends and family to help us through each day—so when we listen we don’t miss what others have to say! Also includes two classic shows: “Pistachio” and “Josh and the Big Wall.”

I am personally a big fan of teaching sing a long shows. When my daughter was growing up she watched several shows that taught a lesson, and didn’t just keep her “entertained”. Veggietales, is that show you want your children to watch. Not only are the cute, and fun to watch. They teach valuable lessons that our children will carry on with them through out the rest of their lives.
