When it comes to my daughter’s birthday, I usually wait until the last minute to even think about getting her birthday supplies. When she was younger I was pretty good at having everything set for her big day. As she gets older, I hope she would tell me she wasn’t interested in a big party! However, she waits until the last minute to let me know she is wanting a themed birthday. Do you know how hard it is to get kids birthday party supplies, in the theme the kiddo wants, when they wait until the last minute.
With her being a Summer baby it always seems, all the other Summer babies like the same things she does. I end up having to turn to other resources, and making a lot of the decorations. Sure, I love making the decorations for her birthday but it always seems like I am having to rush. If you have kids, you know rushing for birthdays is NO FUN!
I usually make her help me get the decorations made, so that it doesn’t take as long. What do you do when a child waits until the last minute to tell you the theme they want? Do you make them take what you can get, or do you try to find what they are wanting?
