We were already suppose to have started school, but with this move, I decided I was going to wait until they start school in Michigan to start Gillian. So she will now start the beginning of September. I know she is loving that because now she gets to be off school for her birthday!
With being home schoolers, I like having custom stickers printed. I like to get some that tell her how awesome she is, and what a great job she is doing. I personally feel when a child gets praised for their good work, they will strive to get the very best. I know with Gillian, if she doesn’t do to well on something, I am having her do. She will redo it over and over until she has it perfect. She is my littler perfectionist, just like her daddy. Not to sure this is a good thing at times, but for now it is great.
Another thing I like to do is print stickers out for birthdays. I like taking her theme and find different unique things to match it, and printing a ton of stickers to decorate with. I try to make all my own decorations, with things from around the house. This helps save money, and it helps reuse things that will end up being thrown away. So it ends up being a win win.
