If you have stumbled upon this post, it means one of two things, you either enter giveaways, or you are interested in entering giveaways. Let me be honest, to be successful in winning giveaways, you have to work hard to accomplish what you are looking to achieve. If you are wanting to win a small amount, entering here and there is fine. However, if you are wanting to actually win often, you have to be dedicated to entering.
When I first started entering giveaways, I stayed away from Blogger giveaways. They scared me, and I thought they were to much work. I liked to hit a button have all my information added, then on to the next one. I did this for about 2 months, what I won during this was, $100 to ebay, and a coffee pot. Two months worth a work, for less then $200 was not worth it. However, a friend talked me into entering blogger giveaways. She showed me what I was suppose to do and to work I went.
When I got the first email stating I won, I was freaked, this started my love and addiction to entering. I did things a little different back then, I would enter the giveaways right before they ended, I won my fair share of items, I was averaging about one to two wins a week. It wasn’t until recently, I started becoming more active in entering, and I will tell you this, I can tell a big difference.
Karen, from Gumma’s Place is a the giveaway Queen! Everywhere I went, I was seeing her name pop up as a winner, I was amazed, then I seen all the work she was putting into it. Whew, I didn’t know if I could become that committed. So, I got to work, I got organized. Organization is the key, I am very organized when it comes to certain things.
After getting organized I started my adventure. I call it an adventure, because if you are going to be successful, you have to be committed. I started entering daily, a few weeks went by I would win a few here and there, then out of NO WHERE. I started getting emails, not once a day, not twice a day, but three to four times a day saying I won!
All the hard work was paying off. Now, you cannot expect to win over night, if you do AWESOME, but in order to successfully enter and win giveaways, you HAVE TO BE COMMITTED, and you have to follow the rules. If you do not follow the rules your comment will not count, so you will be wasting time.
One great way to find giveaways, is search twitter. Once you find one you are interested in entering, read the post, at the end of the post you will see a Mandatory comment, you must do this if you want to enter in for extras. If you want to win, you want to do extras, a lot of my good wins, have been on an extra I did! After you have completed the main entry, find the extras you can do all of them, or a few, this is up to you, make sure you leave a comment for each you do. The more you have the better!
After, a few weeks of doing these daily, you will notice some awesome wins!!!
The three main things to be successful in the giveaway world: Time, Commitment, and being Patient.
