What I Thought:

With being a homeschooling family I love the talking cash register! We are currently working on counting money, and this gives Gillian a more hands on approach, which I love. I feel more hands on then book work will not only make the child be more focused and more apt to learning the material, rather then knowing it long enough to pass tests.

Not only does this cash register speak in English, it also speaks French, and Spanish, this is good for teaching the child how to count in other languages. Nothing better for a parent then a toy that teaches. Gillian loves playing with this cash register, and has went through the house grabbing anything with a bar code to add to her store. Then mom gets to come through and purchase things, and Gillian has to take my money and give me the correct change.

I know this is a toy, however moms can use this for their yard sales. Use the calculator to add up your customers purchase, and use the inside area to store all your hard earned cash. It becomes a win, win for both mom and child. :)
