I am pretty excited for this coming school year to begin. A few months ago I was freaking not sure how we was going to get Gillian’s schooling, sure we could have did what we was doing the past few years with getting it all from online. However, that would have made me freak more, because I would have once again thought I wasn’t teaching my daughter what she was needing to know.
Being a homeschooling parent can be extremely stressful. You do not want to over teach, but then you also do not want to under teach. I have a feeling this coming school year is going to be A LOT less stressful for not only myself, but also for Gillian.
I have heard so many good things about the Switched on Schoolhouse curriculum from Alpha Omega Publications, and I can not wait to put it to the test for myself, and thanks to AOP we will be able to work with this curriculum. If it was not for their generosity I do not think it would have been possible for us to purchase the curriculum.
However, not all curriculum’s are the perfect fit for every family. Alpha Omega Publications offer several different curriculum’s, as well as great tips and helpful resources to make home-schooling less hectic and more enjoyable.
