Aggravated

So with all the storms that just came through and living in a mobile home it kinda freaks me out. I got so freaked I called my husband home from work to be with our daughter and myself. I have went searching for storm shelters and ran across this one site, they stated FEMA as well as your state emergency department offer grants, or you could see about getting a lower interest loan.

This became very interesting so I contact FEMA, they got back with me pretty quickly. They let me know that they do have a program called Hazard Mitigation Grant Program. She explained I would have to get a hold of my proper state Hazard Mitigation Officer. I was also given a list. So I did just that I contacted Tennessee Hazard Mitigation Officer, and was informed that the only way to get a grant for a shelter would be for a community or a grant to reinforce the corridors at a public school. How the hell is that going to help me when we have one vehicle and live in the country?

She informed me that TN has yet to implement any other grant help… So if you do not live in a community then Tennessee could care less about your safety. Nice…
